de_tuscan BETA 1.6, Source Return Successful?

During the past couple of weeks the Steam Community released a workshop submission for a very famous popular and highly played CS 1.6 map. The name is de_tuscan. The new beta workshop submission was created by a group of people paid for to do by a company of the name CEVO. CEVO is a CS:GO website as well as league for CS and other games such as Battlefield 4 and League of Legends. CEVO paid mapmakers to create the map only for the use in CEVO pugs and CEVO official matches. They did this so that it can help attract people to this new company and help create additional revenue. Will this pay off? Nobody knows yet as the map is still in a beta stage. I myself have downloaded the map and tested it in an offline server. I noticed a couple of things about the map. This all started about the map back in June. Colin "Brute" Volrath the original creator of the famous CS 1.6 and CS Source map said he was working on the CS:GO version of the map and that he was putting the finishing touches on it. That was back in June and nobody has heard of him since. Many people of the CS community wanted to play the map so Michiel "SpheXion" Vervaart and Frank "SPiNM" Brouwer decided to stop waiting and created the map. Because of copyright issues de_toscan became the name of the new to be map. I myself have downloaded the map and tested it in an offline server. Here are some of the things that i noticed...

1. Invisible Walls- A Gamers worst nightmare takes so much away from the game and deceiving for new players to the map or to CS:GO as a whole. As a partial map maker myself i see little to no purpose of it.

2. Low textures- Along some of the borders and corners of the map there is really bad low-textured graphics even with playing at the highest graphics.

But even if Valve decided they wanted to add it they would still have a process to go through like every other map. This includes Valve creating there own version adding it to an operation and then finally releasing the map to the public on the general Match-Making servers. Below are some images of the beta version of the map de_toscan.

Thanks and Goodbye,

Your Head Editor,
Michael
