Match Fixing in Pro E-Sports - Team Dignitas Problems

Match fixing has always been a problem with any type of game whether its baseball players like Derek Jeter that make millions of dollars for just sitting on a bench and wearing a uniform or e-sports teams. Match fixing works best with sports that have bets that can be placed. Online betting is the same as regular betting both being illegal for younger kids. Lets make an example to show how match fixing works (these examples are random). Fnatic and NiP are set to play a match in 1 day. The betting opens on csgolounge.com and people begin to place bets. Normally in fixed matches large value skins are bet and large value skins are won if everything goes the right way. This is unknown for the people and admins at any betting sites are not aware of these situations as they are kept secret. Overall this is large reasons that online betting may not be the smartest thing to do, unless you have some empty money under the belt, promise not to get addicted and BE PREPARED TO LOSE STUFF. Lots of negatives come from betting at a young age as many studies show. The urge for excessive drinking and depression increases with betting. If you just want to have fun ignore the possibilities but always be prepared for the possible events to happen in the future.

Team Dignitas a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Professional team from Europe are a group of men that work jobs other than playing Counter-Strike. Team practices are often hard to fit in and as a result from this some results may show in matches. As many people are aware Fragbite Masters is a tournament currently underway. Spots at the LAN final are given through an online tournament. Casters Anders and Semmler are some of the most popular casters for the game and are casting every tournament game. Casters help to explain the large problems with online tournaments. Server problems are very common, hard to predict, and can last a long time. Online matches sadly have a large chance of DDOS on the server. This causes the server to basically over-load and spill the problem back on the players. Most of the time it will kick everybody out of the server and impossible to re-join. Servers swaps then take a while for players to all connect and be prepared for the match. It is hard to tell but most of the Team Dig matches in this online tournament have been plagued with problems. Players have even resorted to VPN and other possible solutions through these tough attacks. More information will be released soon as the tournament continues on through the LAN finals scheduled on November 8.
